WELCOME to the website of the Jamaica National Agency for Accreditation (JANAAC). Since its establishment in 2008, JANAAC has been carrying out its mandate of facilitating trade between Jamaica and its trading partners by enabling Jamaica's conformity assessment system to meet international standards and the World Trade Organization's (WTO's) Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBTs). JANAAC is a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) and the Inter American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) Multi-lateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA) with respect to ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189 and ISO/IEC 17020.

The 2015 ILAC MRA Annual Report has been published and is available from the ILAC website: http://ilac.org/publications-and-resources/ilac-documents/promotional-brochures/. The report sets out the activity that is carried out as part of the peer evaluation process, developments in accreditation over the last year, new and revised publications, and signatory status updates from 2015.

You are encouraged to share the report in print format or electronically with your national Regulators, specifiers and businesses that rely on, or could benefit from, the ILAC MRA.
